Internal Sales

Based in branch, you will be part of a dedicated internal sales team committed to the branch sales efforts

Hours: 
40 hours per week, Branch opening hours are 07:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday (Flexibility will be required with start/finish to cover opening hours), plus some Saturday mornings on a rota

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support sales representative as their primary internal contact - dealing with live sales enquiries & orders including sourcing specials
  • Ensure customer terms are up to date and suitable
  • Quotation management - ensure every branch quotation is chased up working with the branch teamĀ & sales reps
  • Monitor the CRM system (Qlik) for sales opportunities & changes in spend
  • Develop a sales ledger of customers and work to maximise profit from these accounts
  • Become a branch champion in a product category or customer service
  • Work with the other internal staff, to help create a proactive and sales orientated culture
  • Helping in all areas of the branch operation as necessary


Requirements: 
  • Confident and sales focused
  • Excellent interpersonal skills dealing with a wide range of customers & suppliers
  • An experienced communicator; both over the phone and via email
  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Customer focused and a desire to strive for market leading customer service
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
