Joinery Product Sales Manager

Our product managers are specialists in their product areas, with repsonsibility for maintaining and growing the sales and profitability of their repsective category, this one being Joinery; with a primary focus on windows, doors, flooring, stairs and ironmongery.  Routes to market are through our branch network, as well as contract and "direct to site" business.The role also involves providing support across the business, sharing expertise in order to enhance sales.

Sales Hub Director
Hours: 
40 hours, 8am-5pm; Monday - Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsibility for the company sales growth and profitability of the Joinery category
  • Develop and maintain a core stock profile, as well as managing and reviewing new products and pricing structures
  • Working with both our internal and external sales team to develop more business to current customer base and prospective customers
  • Provide leadership and management of a small dedicated team, developing a working ethos with a clear focus on customer service
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and orders for joinery and associated products, when required
  • Working alongside our marketing team to promote products and services
Requirements: 
  • Industry experience and strong technical knowledge of joinery products; in particular windows, doors, flooring, stairs and ironmongery
  • Ability to negotiate with both customers and suppliers at a senior level
  • Understanding drawings is essential
  • Strong sales focus, recognizing opportunities for cross-selling
  • Commerical awareness with the ability to understand profit, margins etc
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, both written and verbal
