The 510 mile route will start in Rouen before ending on Saturday 6th October in Annecy. The route is one of the toughest yet, but the team are up for the challenge.
First-time rider, Adriana Walter from Elliotts Living Spaces, has only recently started cycling, "This is my first cycling event, I haven’t done anything like this before. It sounded like a great challenge for a worthwhile cause. I have been pushing myself during training and am really looking forward to the Annecy Challenge."
Fellow Lymington-showroom employee, Sarah Galton, is looking forward to the experience, "I cycle all the time and have done 1-day events and cycle holidays, but nothing quite like the Annecy Challenge. I’m looking forward to being in France with the rest of the team – I think it will be a great experience."
The team are aiming to raise a whopping £10,000 for our nominated Charity of the Year, Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity. The charity was established to raise funds for Countess Mountbatten Hospice in West End. Although some funding comes from the Government, the charity needs to raise £1 million a year to ensure vital services are maintained.
