Trainee Estimator - Pitched Roofing

Elliotts Premier Roofing (EPR) is a roofing contractor for both commercial and domestic properties. EPR is one of the leading providers of roofing works along the south coast.

With a turnover of £6m this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business. it forms part of a £75m turnover group, founded in 1842, that is still family owned today.

Initially there will be an intensive training plan to enable the successful candidate to understand the whole process from start to finish, eventually taking ownership to complete projects unaided.

Hours:

40 hours per week, 08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

Dealing with customers from initial enquiry stage through to the hand over to our contracts team
Assist with producing quotations from take offs; quantifying measures, inputting materials and submitting tenders
Following through with correspondence to customer; detailing and explanation of quotation content, material and costings.
Negotiating prices with customers and suppliers
Supporting the Senior Estimator on a variety of tasks

Requirements:

Accurate, with strong attention to detail
Excellent numerical, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise, plan and organise efficiently with a methodical approach
Competent use of Microsoft Officer
Sense of humor.
