Team Elliotts ready for the Mont Ventoux challenge!

Team Elliotts is taking on one of their toughest charity cycling challenges yet

The Mont Ventoux Challenge sees our team of 11 cycle 640 miles across France from Ouistreham to Mont Ventoux over 4 days. The final day of the challenge on 5th October, will be the ascent of Mont Ventoux, with an average gradient of 7.15%!

7 out of the 11 riders are taking part in the Challenge Adventure Charities ride for the first time, including Southampton Assistant Branch Manager, Dan Coombes.

“The team has done some tough training rides across Hampshire over the last few months in preparation for the challenge”, says Dan.

“But the thought of raising money for a local cause has kept us motivated and now we’re all looking forward to getting over to France!”

Tom Elliott, Managing Director of Elliotts, said “At 640 miles, this ride will be one of the most physically demanding that we’ve undertaken, but we have a fantastic team who are up for the challenge.
